According to Cbgist News, the incident, which took place somewhere in Zambia, has left people in shock and the brotherhood proud.

The report claimed that the man had invested significant time, effort, and resources into building the home for his in-laws as a gesture of goodwill during his marriage.

It added that following the dissolution of the couple’s decade-long union, the man allegedly took drastic action, tearing down the structure.

As of May 27, many Facebook users in Nigeria believed and have spread this story.

Cbgist News didn’t give the date and the exact location in Zambia where this incident happened.

Also, it didn’t state t the name of the man who demolished his in-laws’ house, and the story didn’t show an authoritative confirmation from the Zambian government or security agencies.

This indicates that this report by Cbgist News is a tale by moonlight story.

When the image attached to the report was subjected to Google Lens, we discovered that this was an image of a demolition exercise in Kenya in 2018.

In a publication by a local news outlet in Kenya in 2018, hivisasa used this photo as a Feature Image and reported that the Kenya National Highways Authority (Kenha) had begun a demolition exercise targeted at buildings and business premises erected in road reserves.

hivisasa disclosed that the demolition, which began in Garissa, has seen buildings along the Kismayu road brought down by the Kenha officers.

Also, this photo appeared in another publication by NewsLine, a local Kenyan news organization, in October 2023.
