The video showing missiles flying up at buildings alongside the claim that it was Friday night’s counterattack by Iran against Israel in Tel Aviv, which was shared by an X influencer, Jackson Hinkle, has been taken down. FactWatch Nigeria observed.
On Friday night, FACTWATCH Nigeria fact-checked the viral video shared by @JacksonHinkle regarding the retaliatory attacks on Israel by Iran.
He, posted a video showing massive missiles flying up at buildings and claimed it was an ongoing counterattack by Iran against Israel in Tel Aviv.
However, we discovered that this video was MISLEADING as a thorough investigation indicated that this video was from October 2024 when Iran fired over 200 missiles into Israel’s Tel Aviv in response to the killing of a Hezbollah chief.
