A Facebook user, Ugochi Crown, has shared an image of a well-constructed road and claimed it can be found in Anambra, Enugu States, in the Southeast part of Nigeria.
The Facebook user wrote, “Enugu state and Anambra state road biafra is Amazing land 🙌 👏“.
The post garnered over 1.2k likes and comments.
Verification
FACTWATCH subjected this image to a Google image reverse search and discovered that many Facebook pages and websites confirmed that the highway is located in Abuja and not Enugu or Anambra States.
Under the post, a commenter noted “This is Aso drive in Abuja, Nigeria. “
This Fact Checker couldn’t find any road either in Enugu or Anambra State after a thorough search.
Verdict
This claim is MISLEADING as the Facebook user intentionally wants to mislead the public with the photo.
